Julian Schwinger papers on Cold Fusion in early  ’90s

Julian Schwinger (1918 – 1994) developed the theoretical basis for quantum electrodynamics, for which he shared the 1965 Nobel Laureate in Physics with Richard Feynman and Shinichiro Tomonaga.
